ARTIST - Learn2turn builds E-DoK on WOLF PaaS
Bangalore, 13th May, 2010: WOLF Frameworks, a leading Cloud Computing and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) Venture, headquartered in Bangalore, today announced that Learn2turn, a knowledge management start up has built e-DOK, an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) SAAS product on WOLF's PaaS, targeting Obstetricians & Gynecologists (OBGYN).
e-DoK, is a flagship product in the clinical domain that not only documents every encounter but also flags risks and alerts in the OBGYN specialty and which can be used in hospitals, clinics or by individual practitioners. It helps aggregate the progressive data for patients through the course of treatment & publishes it in the form of reports, analytics, risks and alerts, making it easy for doctors to get a glance of overall patient progress. In addition, it also provides an ability to the OBGYNs to access the latest practices and guidelines provided by an expert OBGYN with over 25 years of practice.
Learn2turn consulting initially partnered with ARTIST "Asian Research and Training Institute of Skill Transfer" headed by Dr Hema Divakar, who is also the head of Divakar's Hospital and has been practicing in the OBGYN domain for over 25 years. Learn2turn worked with ARTIST to understand the course of treatment followed by the expert for their patients and thus identified an opportunity for creating knowledge out of the data and mapping the processes into a tangible SaaS product. WOLF enabled Learn2turn team to transform their idea into a design for the SaaS application. Once the design was finalized, the first version of application design-development-deployment was accomplished in 200 man hours.
The application titled e-DOK was launched on the 8th of May at "Cutting Edge 2010" by Dr Sanjay Gupte, President of FOGSI (Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecological Societies of India - www.fogsi.org). Dr Gupte has been emphasizing the need for documenting all patient records electronically for furtherance of knowledge within the OBGYN community. He has launched many e-data gathering and analytics initiative in his program titled "Reaching the Unreached". FOGSI is the world's largest group of OBGYNs under one umbrella with over 25,000 active members.

eCounting builds a customized e-accounting and financial SAAS application on Wolf Frameworks PaaS

The entire application was built in only 60 days time and has already acquired 20 plus customers. ECounting CMS was sending their accountants to customer's office to enter accounting data & prepare weekly MIS financial reports in excel sheets which were then emailed out to the management.
